Dr. C. Jefferson Hood is a licensed marriage and family therapist. For the last ten years, Dr. Jeff counseled members of the military on posts across central and southern United States and at eight OCONUS bases in Germany, Italy and South Korea. Over the course of his career, he has maintained a private practice, taught courses at the university level, and led numerous support groups. Dr. Jeff has experience in marriage and premarital counseling, rebuilding after an affair, communication skills and on setting healthy boundaries. He is the author of If You Can’t Say No, You Can’t Really Say Yes, a book addressing forming healthy boundaries.
Leah is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She is a real person who has lived a real life. Leah has overcome several adversities including sexual abuse, domestic violence, and drug addiction. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and went on to gain her Master’s degree in counseling at Faulkner University. Leah has worked for 6 years as a school based therapist as well as seeing adults in a clinical setting.
Leah is passionate about helping others make positive changes in their personal lives and ultimately in their communities as well. Changed people change the world.
Samantha Kelley is a Licensed Professional Counselor (#3440) and a Registered Play Therapist (T4900). Samantha is a trauma-informed therapist, that has worked in various settings. She has a background in mental health counseling, substance abuse counseling, counseling incarcerated individuals and juvenile delinquents, the geriatric population, and at-risk adolescents.
Samantha acquired her play therapy certification, and has 4 years of experience and training as a play therapist. She has experience in Individual, group, and crisis counseling. Samantha has earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The University of Alabama, a Master’s degree in Community Agency Counseling and an Education Specialist Degree in Counseling from Jacksonville State University.

As a therapist, I believe in taking a hands-on approach, working together with individuals, to identify problem areas, and focus on solutions, utilizing coping mechanism to help solve problems.”
Cathy is a Certified Life Coach and an Associate Licensed Counselor with a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. She is also a sitting member with the American Psychological Association and National Association for Christian Counseling. Cathy holds various board positions within DeKalb County.
She has extensive practice with children and families impacted by trauma, sexual abuse, and physical/emotional abuse. Cathy believes there is a plan and purpose for all things, and although we are not promised a life without slip-ups and struggles, it often takes having someone walk along side of us to help find our true north.
Linda is a Certified Natural Health Professional, Certified Emotion Code Practitioner and Certified Personal Trainer. She was also educated as a Traditional Naturopath. Her passion is helping people uncover underlying root issues surrounding disease and helps to identify natural therapies for an individual that may promote healing to occur. She focuses on the use of food, herbs, essential oils, Vitaflex, detoxing, emotional release, exercise and other all-natural, non-invasive means to help the body heal itself and loves educating on these topics. She stresses the need to address life as a whole person–body, mind and spirit.
Harley is the liaison for Dove ReNew. Harley is a graduate from Lee University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with clinical experience working in community mental health, group homes, and is currently working in Case Management at Marshall Medical Centers as a psych screener. Harley has had Case Management training in adolescence, adults, and Substance Abuse as well as Crisis training. Harley’s vision for Dove ReNew is to destigmatize mental health and provide an avenue of healing for each client in their own unique way.
We accept Blue Cross and Blue Shield (Psychiatry not included).
Dove Renew also offers a unique approach to pay for counseling. Our cash pay model offers affordable pricing as well as the opportunity for individuals with low income to apply for significant discounts.
Court fees range from $1,500-$1,750 per day of court.
- $100 per visit for therapist / counselor / coach
- $175 for Psychiatry Initial / $150 thereafter
- $70 per substance abuse visit
- $30 per group session
- One-time intake fee of $50 per family
